During the February French holidays, enjoy the Sunset 3200 experience. On Tuesdays from 4.45pm, hit the slopes at Puy-Salié until sunset and treat yourself to a generous sweet and savoury buffet at the 3200 restaurant. This activity is also open to pedestrians.

Reservations are open until Monday evening at 4 p.m. for Tuesday's activity.

Lifts passes

If my child is 13 at the time of our stay, do I have to pay a Child or Junior package?

On the Internet, if your child is at least 13 years old on the 1st day of skiing, he or she will benefit from the Junior rate, whatever the duration of the ski pass.

In cash, if this birthday is before or on the 1st day of skiing, the young person will benefit from the junior pass (1 to 4-day passes) or adult pass for minimum 5-day passes.

In all cases, children whose 13th birthday is after the date of the 1st day of skiing of their package are eligible for the child rate.

At what age do I have to pay for the Children's package?

Children's packages are available from age 5.

Only children under 5 years of age at the time of their stay are entitled to a free ski pass, regardless of the type of activity. This package is also free is mandatory for access to ski lifts of the estate. Purchase is possible on the website, on our automatic sales machines and at our points of sale.

Is there an unemployment rate? Military?

There are no preferential rates for the unemployed or military personnel.

I have a disabled card. Do I get a discount?

You can benefit from a preferential handiski rate, which you can collect from the lift ticket office on presentation of your up-to-date disability card.

On presentation of your up-to-date disability cardYou'll benefit from preferential rates. The rate will depend on your level of disability. (50 to 80% or more than 80%). Reservations and packages available exclusively at our sales outlets.

Please note that disabled parking cards do not qualify for this discount.

I have a disabled card. Can my companion get a discount?

For holders of an 80% disability card, the accompanying person benefits from a preferential "Guide" rate. Reservations and print-outs of packages available exclusively at our sales outlets.

I'm over 72, how do I take out my lift pass?

If you're a skier: you benefit from a special Grand Senior ski pass. This pass is available at our points of sale, on our website and on our automatic purchase terminals.

If you're a pedestrian: show your ID at the sales point and you'll receive a free pedestrian pass. It is compulsory for lift access.

How does the morning ski pass work?

At the time of purchase, you pay the price of the morning ski pass and its deposit.

The morning ski pass is valid for the selected validity date, from the opening of the lifts until 12:30 p.m.

On the day of validity of the pass, you must arrive before 1p.m at one of the lifts sales points, with the ski pass and sales receipt (or order confirmation) for a refund of the deposit.

If you don't return before 1pm to get your deposit refunded, you can continue to use your ski pass in the ski area for the rest of the day. In this case, no refund will be made.

Please note that morning passes and 1-day passes are two different products. If you only want to ski in the morning, you need to buy a morning pass. If you buy a 1-day pass, no deposit will be refunded on this product, even if you return to the cashier before 1pm.

Why a deposit on the morning package?

This system, whose constraints we understand, has been set up because there are no lifts pass control terminals on all the lifts, particularly on the glacier, due to major technical problems. It would be easy to ski all day long with a morning pass if it weren't for the deposit system, which encourages people to leave the ski area at the right time.

My partner wants to ski this morning and I want to ski this afternoon. Can we share our day pass?

Day, stay or season lifts passes are never transferable. The same lifts pass cannot be used by different people.

I own property in Les 2 Alpes, can I get a discount on ski passes?

Owners of second homes in Les 2 Alpes are entitled to certain benefits, provided they are members of the Owner's Club run by the Tourist Office, and depending on how the program works.

I'd like to do a half-day ofMTB. What kind of pass do I need?

In summer, we offer a 4-hour MTB pass. There's no date on the pass, and the 4 hours start from the 1st pass at a lift terminal. It is valid only for the current season.

In spring or autumn, there is no 4-hour MTB pass. Only 1-day MTB pass are available.

Can I pay with Chèques Vacances ?

At the cash desk: you can pay with Chèques Vacances in paper format only.

On our website: you can pay for your purchases with Chèques Vacances Connect.

Payment by Chèques Vacances is not possible at the automatic terminals.

I bought a pass for one specific day, and I want to buy for another day, the site asks me to buy a new card at 2 euros. How can I avoid buying a second card?

You can call us during opening hours on +33(0)4 76 79 75 01 or fill in the contact form available here. We recommend that you don't wait until the last minute so that we can process and validate your order and you can have the reloadable card number in time for your second order.

Why aren't some lifts passes available online (e.g. pedestrians over 72, handiskiing...)?

Some lift passes offer preferential rates. They are only available upon presentation of the supporting documents to a sales hostess or host. They cannot be purchased over the Internet.

Why are you asked for an e-mail address when making a purchase on a tablet?

Purchases from tablets and automatic kiosks are treated as Internet sales, so legaly we have to send you your payment confirmation and order confirmation by e-mail. On some machines, you can also obtain a copy of these items on a paper receipt.

When can winter pass be ordered online?

Winter lifts passes sales generally open at the beginning of July for the season passes and current/end of July for the other durations.

I've chosen to collect my order at an automatic kiosk, but I can't see the QRcode?

You'll find the QR code on your order confirmation.

Depending on your mailbox settings, remember to download the images in the confirmation mail so that the QR code is displayed.

When removing, leave the QR code at display size (no zoom) and remember to disable the "Dark mode", which prevents the QR code from being read properly.

Where do I pick up my Internet package?

When you placed your order, you chose to collect your lifts passes from the kiosks. You received an order confirmation with a QR code.

This QR code can be used on the automatic kiosks (called "Boutiques digitales" on our maps) available at the Jandri, Diable, Venosc Village, Mont-de-Lans Point I and Petite Aiguille sales points, and at the foot of the Super Venosc gondola.

Can I use another station's card?

Yes, if the long number (23 digits) of this card starts with 01-1614 xxxx xxxx xxxx xxxx - x.

Please note: some stations sell reloadable cards for in theory use on various ski area access systems. Although in principle they can be used at Les 2 Alpes, there have already been cases where these cards have jammed at the control terminals. So, the cards are replaced by our own cards.

Can I top up several lifts passes on the same card?

At the cash desk: multiple lifts passes cannot be purchased on the same card. The last purchase will overwrite any previously purchased/encoded lifts passes.

On the Internet :

If you have a lifts pass purchased at the cash desk: you can order a lifts pass for a date later than the end of validity of the lifts pass already encoded.

If you have a lifts pass already ordered online: you can reorder a lifts pass for a date before or after the a lifts pass already ordered, as long as the dates do not overlap.

Please note:

  • if you have a Liberté ski pass (non-consecutive days) or a 1-lift access pass, you will not be able to recharge a pass until the day after it expires.

  • if your lift pass comes from another resort, make sure you don't have a valid lift pass already encoded. A purchase at the cash desk will systematically overwrite this pass, while a pass bought on the Internet will not pass through the control terminals.

  • it is not possible to buy lifts passes on a season pass: if bought at the cash desk, the season pass will be overwritten, if bought on the Internet, the new pass will not be activated.

Exception: in spring and summer, you can add toboggan runs on your valid lifts pass.

I've made a mistake with a skier's date of birth or name and I can't make the change.

Cancellation/Loss

If I don't use my lifts pass, do I get my money back?

According to our General Terms and Conditions, packages are non-refundable.

For all purchases on our website, we offer free cancellation and reimbursement up to D-7 of the 1st day of validity of the pass. In winter, when you place your order, we offer a CANCELLATION GUARANTEE for €5 per lifts pass, enabling you to cancel and refund your lifts pass free of charge up to the 1st day of validity.

Am I properly insured if I pay by credit card, and is my friend also covered if I pay for his or her lifts pass by credit card on the site or at the point of sale?

We invite you to contact your bank to find out about the insurance conditions offered by your bank card. When you buy your ski pass at a sales points or on this website, we offer you ASSUR'GLISSE sports and leisure insurance for ski or pedestrian area rescue without advance payment.

I've lost my package. What should I do?

You must go to the lifts pass sales point with the proof of purchase of the lost pass (or internet order confirmation) and your ID. A new lifts pass (duplicate) can be issued on site, subject to a €5 reissue fees. The lost lifts pass will be blocked when the new lift pass is issued.

Les 2 Alpes' area

Are dogs allowed on the lifts? In the 2 Alpes area?

At Les 2 Alpes, dogs are only allowed on lifts with enclosed cabins (gondolas, cabins of hybrid lifts, inclined elevators and funiculars) and on pedestrian itineraries. Dogs must be kept on a leash, and their owners are responsible for picking up after their pets.

Dogs are strictly forbidden on marked ski slopes or MTB tracks

To access the Toura restaurant, they must pass through the tunnels.

Can I go snowscooting in Les 2 Alpes?

New snow sports equipment, including snowscooters, are accepted on the Jandri 1 and 2, the Diable, Belle Etoile and Vallée Blanche gondolas, the Super Venosc gondola and the Dôme Express funicular, and on the slopes served by these lifts. For further details, please contact the lift sales outlet.

Where can I picnic in Les 2 Alpes?

At 2,600 m, below the Jandri intermediate station, you'll find an out-of-bag room.

Picnic tables are also available on the ski area in winter and on the pedestrian and mountain bike area in other seasons.

What are the lift times?

Are strollers allowed on the lifts?

Strollers are allowed in gondolas and in the cabins of the hybrid lifts..

Can I go up to Destination 3,400 in the afternoon?

The high-altitude lifts and the 3,200 restaurant close early all year round.
In winter and in summer, in order to make the most of your Destination 3,400 and Jandri 3,200 experiences, we advise you to leave no later than 2pm. After that, you won't be able to enjoy all the activities on offer in the area.

Ice cave and funicular close at 3:30pm.
Le 3 200 restaurant close at 4:00pm.
Last way down from 3,200 m at 4:00pm.

In spring, Jandri 3,200 experience is only available in the morning. The lifts close at 1:30 p.m. in the first period, and 2 p.m. in the second.

What should I wear to climb to Jandri 3,200 / Destination 3,400?

To get to Jandri 3,200 and above, we recommend that you bring warm clothing and good footwear. You'll be arriving in (or near) a snow-covered area, temperatures can be negative even in midsummer, and the high-altitude area is often windy, which can make it feel even colder. Don't hesitate to check the weather forecast here on the morning of each altitude climb.

What's the last pedestrian descent from the Jandri 3200?

Jandri 3200 usually closes early.

In winter and summer, the last descent on the Jandri cable car is around 4:00 pm from 3,200 m.

In spring, the last descent by the Jandri cable car is at 1:20 pm from 3,200 m in the first period and 1:50 pm in the second, and 3:45 pm on weekends in June.

Where is the ice cave located? How easy is it to get there?

The ice cave is located at an altitude of 3,400m, accessed via Jandri 1 and 2, then the inclined elevator and funicular. Access is straightforward, but the path leads through snow in winter and summer alike, so suitable footwear is essential.

What should I wear to visit the ice cave?

Winter and summer alike, be sure to dress warmly. The cave is located at an altitude of 3,400 m, and temperatures can drop very low even in midsummer. You'll be entering a glacier where the average temperature is around -1°C.

What are the opening times for the ice cave?

The ice cave is open from 10am to 3:30 pm. Last entrance at 3pm.

What is the minimum age for climbing at altitude? Can I take a baby up to altitude?

We recommend climbing 1,000 m in altitude per year, i.e. a minimum of 3.5 years for a child to climb to 3,400 m. You should plan to climb in stages, pausing for 10/15 minutes each time, at 2,600 m and then 3,200 m, so that your child(ren) can swallow properly. You can help them by giving them some snack and drink.

The best recommendation is that of your paediatrician, so don't hesitate to contact him or her before coming to the mountains.

Where can I go tobogganing?

There are 2 toboggan areas on the snow front: the Limaçons toboggan area and the Diable toboggan area.

Can I go fat biking in Les 2 Alpes in summer?

Fat bikes are not allowed in the Les 2 Alpes bike park.
