Funicular and ice cave Information

Due to the completion phase of the renovation work, the funicular will remain closed until December 6 included. The ice cave is also closed until that date.

Pedestrians can access to Jandri 3200, including its two panoramic terrace and the restaurant Le 3200.

Preferential rate when purchasing the ice cave with a 1-day, 3-day liberté

All reservations are final.
The Ice Cave activity is non-refundable, except in the event of exceptional and unfavorable weather conditions leading to the closure of the access lift.

A magical immersion in the heart of the 2 Alpes ice cave

Nestled at the top of the 2 Alpes ski area, facing the most beautiful peaks of the Écrins National Park, enter an extraordinary place, where cold and beauty meet.


To get there from the station take a ride on the cable car Jandri to the foot of the 2 Alpes glacier, then climb up the funicular for a traverse under the glacier up to 3 400 metres. At the exit, the ice cave awaits your visit!


Visit ice cave accessible from early December to late August, almost non-stop, is shaped by 2 mountain guides to create a world of wonder.

You enter a 200m-long tunnel where you'll be instantly captivated by the icy sculptures adorning the walls, similar to ephemeral works of art ranging from majestic statues to detailed motifs. The interior of the grotto seems like a parallel world, where the play of light filtering through the ice and the sparkle of the crystals create an enchanting atmosphere.

Admiring this fabulous universe of ice is like an invitation to experience a moment of pure magic, a return to nature's roots in a breathtaking setting.
