During the Easter weekend, take part in the Alpes Easter Egg Hunt.
From Saturday April 4 to Monday April 6, search for hidden eggs across the ski area
đ watch the webcams and spot the eggs on the slopes
đ collect your reward at the Jandri sales point
Activity also open to pedestrians.
3,200 meters altitude. 1,300 riders, wheels on snow. A mass start from the high-altitude domain, and 25 km of descent down to Venosc at 900 m.
Since 2000, the Mountain of Hell has opened the MTB season in Les 2 Alpes in a way that few events in the world can match.
The 26th edition takes place from June 18 to 21, 2026 â whether youâre coming to ride or to ride and watch, hereâs everything you need to know, and how to get your pass.
25 km of enduro descent, 2,500 m of negative vertical drop, three types of terrain following one another without transition: snow on the high-altitude domain, technical singletracks in the forest, and demanding rock sections before the finish in Venosc.
The MOH is a mass race â not an event reserved for pros. Amateurs, experienced riders, e-MTB riders, kids: everyone can line up.
The speed record on the upper section dates back to 2018: 127 km/h. That sets the tone.
This mix is exactly what defines the event. You start alongside a World Cup rider, you finish in the same village.
The MOH is not a closed criterium â itâs an experience you live from the inside, and thatâs what makes the difference.
Four packed days, with something for every type of rider:
Thursday, June 18: film conference featuring Kilian Bron at the Palais des Sports. The cultural and community opening of the event â a great way to get into the vibe before things get serious.
Friday, June 19: free course reconnaissance and Bike Park discovery. This is the day to spot lines, test sections, and ask yourself the right questions before the official start. The day pass gives you access to the entire domain.
Saturday, June 20: MOH qualifications from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. starting at 2,600 m, MOH Kids final and MOH E-Bike. A dense day on the mountain with multiple races happening simultaneously.
Sunday, June 21: MOH final from 3,200 m, mass start at 8:45 a.m., followed by the prize ceremony.
Important: race registrations close on June 16, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. No on-site registration on race day.
If you want to ride the MOH instead of just watching it, it happens online â now.
As lift operator and co-organizer of the event alongside the Tourist Office and the Municipality of Les 2 Alpes, SATA knows the course better than anyone â and this is insider info you wonât find elsewhere.
The final starts at 3,200 m, accessible via the Jandri lift.
In June, snow coverage is still significant on the upper section â this is what gives the MOH its unique hybrid character: you start on snow, transition onto the Jandri sector, then move onto technical singletracks in the Venosc sector before finishing in the valley floor along the VĂ©nĂ©on river.
The Venosc gondola brings you back to the resort.
A useful detail if you want to prepare seriously: the exact course layout is only revealed the day before the race.
This is intentional â itâs part of the eventâs DNA.
You can scout the main sections on Friday, but youâll never know exactly what awaits you before the start.
Thatâs also what Mountain of Hell is about.
MOH â the original format: non-electric MTB, open from age 15, mass start from 3,200 m. This is the format that built the eventâs reputation since 2000.
E-MOH: the dedicated e-MTB race. Same spirit, adapted course for electric assistance.
MOH Kids: ages 9â14, adapted course on Saturday, June 20. Ideal if youâre coming as a family and want younger riders to have their own race.
Registering for the MOH gives you access to the race start â not necessarily to the full domain all week.
To ride during reconnaissance days and after the race, hereâs how it works:
Day pass: flexible option for riders coming one or two days. Ideal for Friday reconnaissance, Saturday qualifications or Sunday final depending on your plan. Buy it online the night before from your van, no queue in the morning.
Full Ride season pass: if you plan to come back to Les 2 Alpes several times during the summer â and given the quality of the domain, you probably will â the âŹ345 adult season pass quickly pays for itself. You go straight through the gates all season.
Everything is purchased online, no waiting lines, pass loaded directly.
Itâs designed so you can decide the night before from your van and be on the trails at 9 a.m. the next morning.
One hour drive from Grenoble.
Thatâs the argument that solves logistics for most local riders â no need to take a full week off or book accommodation months in advance.
For van-lifers, MOH parking is designed with you in mind.
Free parking is available at the entrance of the resort, in Venosc and in Mont-de-Lans.
Dedicated van paddocks are set up during the event â without facilities, but exact locations are communicated before the start.
This is the detail most MOH pages donât clearly mention: you can come with your van, park, and ride for four days without worrying about accommodation logistics.
For traditional accommodation, reservation.les2alpes.com handles it better than we do.
20 nationalities at the start line.
Pro riders sharing the paddock with amateurs traveling across Europe in vans.
Evenings that continue long after the prize ceremony.
Mountain of Hell is as much about culture as it is about racing â and you feel it from Thursday night at the Palais des Sports, it builds on Friday on the trails, and explodes Sunday morning at the mass start.
MOH is a weekend that requires planning.
Registrations close on June 16 at 11:59 p.m., start spots are limited, and there is no on-site registration.
