Spring 2026 in Les 2 Alpes is anything but the end of the season. Thanks to its high-altitude ski area reaching up to 3,600 meters, the resort becomes a true playground for riders, athletes, brands, and outdoor event enthusiasts. High-level training, skiing for passionate riders, freestyle competitions, and lively events follow one another in a format that’s unique in France.
More than just a transition between two seasons, spring in Les 2 Alpes stands out as a special moment when the riding continues and the mountains are still buzzing. This year’s calendar is packed, offering plenty of opportunities to enjoy the slopes, the atmosphere, and the events that define the resort.

Organizer: French Ski Federation
The Federal Instructors Gathering brings together around 150 participants in Les 2 Alpes for a weekend focused on Nordic disciplines and shared practice.
On the program: biathlon, cross-country skiing and ski jumping, with the main activity day scheduled for Saturday, May 2 on the Toura Plateau.
Participants are accommodated through UCPA, with packages including lodging and lift passes.

Organizer: Spring Rookie Camp
The Spring Rookie Camp is an intensive week dedicated to young international riders looking to progress in snowboarding, skiing, and skateboarding. With 80 to 90 competitors in recent editions, it’s one of the most anticipated junior events of the European spring season.
Format:
May 11–15: Training camp
May 16–17: Two days of competition
Sessions take place between the Snowpark 3400—accessible thanks to the high-altitude ski area still open in May—and the resort’s skatepark.

Organizer: DC Shoes
From May 18 to 22, iconic brand DC Shoes, official snowpark partner of Les 2 Alpes, takes over Snowpark 3400 as part of a collaboration focused on freestyle content production.
This initiative is designed to bring in international riders and deliver high-quality photo and video shoots, taking full advantage of the snow-covered high-altitude area during this period.
A partnership that strengthens Les 2 Alpes’ position as a leading destination for freestyle and content creation on the international stage.

The XXL Slopestyle competition returns to Snowpark 3400 for a new edition. With around 30 riders, the event showcases some of the best talents in the alpine freestyle scene.

Wednesday, May 20: Competition from 9:00am to 4:30pm, prize giving at 5:30pm at Hôtel Atmosphère, concert from 6:00pm
Note: Early opening of the Dôme Sud lift is planned to ease access to the high-altitude snowpark.

The Europa Cup Rail Finals bring together the best European freestyle skiers in a high-level rail-focused format. As an official stage of the FIS circuit, the competition features around 30 international riders, with a level just below World Cup.
On the program: qualifications and finals on a dedicated rail setup at 3200m, designed for top-level performance.
Dates: June 6–7, 2026

The Mediappiness Invitational lands in Les 2 Alpes for its first edition in June. Organized by a collective of local riders, the event blends competition and festival vibes in a unique, high-energy atmosphere.
Program:
Saturday 7:00am–midnight: Meeting 3400, village opening, stand-up show, concerts, DJ sets, skate session, food trucks
Sunday 10:00am–late afternoon: continuation of activities
The event is promoted via Instagram accounts @downdays_eu, @newschoolers and @2alpes, as well as platforms like Downdays and Newschoolers.

The 1000skis Fam Week wraps up the Snowpark 3400 summer season in style. Organized by 1000skis in partnership with Jibworx, this week gathers 100 to 150 participants around:
Ski gear testing and sales
Coaching sessions with pro athletes
Content creation workshops
Rail jam competition

Mornings are dedicated to snowpark sessions, while afternoons focus on exploring resort activities—offering a full Les 2 Alpes experience.

Yes. Snowpark 3400 is open from May 4 to July 5 thanks to the high-altitude ski area. This is why the resort attracts so many freestyle events and brand shoots during this period.
Yes, all events are open to spectators. For some, you’ll need a lift pass (pedestrian or ski) to reach 3200m via the Jandri lift.
Access to Snowpark 3400 may require a ski or pedestrian pass depending on your viewing point. Events in the resort (prize givings, parties) are usually free.
Les 2 Alpes is easily accessible from Grenoble (around 1 hour) or via the A48 motorway. Transfers are available from nearby train stations and airports. The new Jandri lift takes you to the high-altitude area in just 17 minutes.
From the end of the winter season in late April to the final sessions in June, Les 2 Alpes concentrates an event lineup that is rare in France.
