Snowpark 3400 - 2 Alpes

Snowpark 3400: The Ultimate Spring Freestyle Experience at High Altitude in Les 2 Alpes

While most resorts are closing, Les 2 Alpes keeps riders buzzing until early July. With Snowpark 3400, the resort has established itself as a true summer freestyle reference in Europe. Snowboarders and skiers enjoy perfectly groomed snow, varied features and an unmatched freestyle atmosphere right in the heart of spring. It is one of the highest-altitude training grounds for beginner and advanced freestyle enthusiasts, professionals and international athletes.

A Unique Snowpark in Europe

Located between 3,400 m and 3,200 m, the snowpark benefits from an exceptional high-altitude setting, guaranteeing optimal snow conditions throughout spring. This distinctive feature has built its international reputation, attracting riders from around the world every year.

The experience is rare: riding freestyle features while the valley below is already living to the rhythm of summer activities.

This contrast between mountains, sunshine and freestyle creates a unique atmosphere that has become a true signature of Les 2 Alpes.

Snowpark 3400 Facilities

Snowpark 3400 is designed as a true progressive playground, structured into several areas suited to all levels:

  • Beginner & Intermediate Area (M level)
Perfect for beginners and freestyle training camps, this area offers accessible features, ideal for discovering freestyle in Les 2 Alpes. Wide boxes, small kickers and tanks allow riders to learn safely.

  • Rail Area (L level)
Two lines of features made up of tanks and various rails, suitable for all tastes and skill levels.

  • Expert Slopestyle Area (XL and XXL levels)
Reserved for experienced riders, the slopestyle sector offers a wide variety of features: rails and kickers of different sizes to work on technique and flow. A spot highly appreciated by international athletes.

  • Chill Zone & Freestyle Atmosphere
Between two runs, it’s time to relax. Chill areas, music and barbecues all contribute to the atmosphere that has built the reputation of the snowpark in Les 2 Alpes.

Spring Training Sessions

While Snowpark 3400 is accessible to everyone in spring, it is also a true preparation centre for professional athletes and international teams. When most resorts close, the high-altitude ski area guarantees stable and high-performance snow conditions, ideal for intensive technical training.

Rails, boxes and kickers of various sizes are shaped daily to meet international circuit standards. The park allows riders to refine their combinations, work on precision and amplitude, and optimise their setup ahead of major competitions.

The international-level crosspark (for boardercross and ski cross) completes the offer. Banked turns, fast sequences and playful jumps guarantee strong sensations for skiers and snowboarders. This demanding course is reserved for experienced competitors.

Opening Dates & Riding Conditions

Snowpark 3400 in Les 2 Alpes is open from early May to early July.

Another specific feature of the spring season is its schedule, which differs from winter: earlier opening hours and closing at 1:00 pm only. Thanks to the altitude, snow quality remains excellent, but the snowpark teams need the afternoon to reshape the features when the snow becomes softer, ensuring optimal conditions for the following day.
