The intermediate station, the heart of the Jandri, is the place to be during your visit. This innovative structure is the nerve center of the new lift. The intermediate station is actually 2 stations grouped together in a single building. This veritable hub for skiers and visitors brings together incomparable machinery, a cathedral-like garage and comfortable, modern relaxation areas.
During your visit, you'll have the opportunity to go behind the scenes of this unsuspected station. Guided through the building by a member of the Sata 2 Alpes team, he'll share with you the history, architecture and operation of the Jandri.
The new Jandri 3S is much more than just a ropeway. It is a technological feat that embodies innovation and progress, and is the result of a collective approach: building sustainably to secure the future of future generations and of our mountains. This new means of transport, which replaces the old Jandri Express, the backbone of the Les 2 Alpes ski area, and is scheduled to operate all year round, aims to considerably improve the fluidity and speed of travel between the resort and the glacier. With its impressive transport capacity, it reduces waiting times and increases user comfort.
The colossal 18-month construction site, located in the heart of Les 2 Alpes, was a veritable hive of activity. Teams worked relentlessly to deliver an infrastructure that lived up to expectations, with engineers and workers rising to major technical challenges.
An educational experience whether you're a mountain enthusiast, an engineer or simply curious to see how a ropeway works, a visit behind the scenes of the Jandri is a unique opportunity to learn and marvel at human ingenuity, and to understand the challenges and technical innovations of the project.
A friendly moment a visit behind the scenes of the Jandri is also an opportunity to spend a pleasant moment with family and friends, and to share the fascination of such infrastructures, the detailed information and the anecdotes shared by the professionals at Sata 2 Alpes.
Supporting local development by taking a behind-the-scenes look at the new Jandri, you're showing your interest in and support for Les 2 Alpes' development projects. Your presence is a sign of encouragement for the teams working tirelessly to improve the resort's infrastructure.
